it is sad. I graduated my uc davis myself recently and just barely avoided the tuition hike. the sad thing is that ive heard that the UC has 800 billion in reserves. our uc board is squandering our money. the davis campus continuously funnel money to useless projects such as a 1.4 million for a walkway across a field… rremodling buildings when the exisiting ones are perfectly fine

UCLA tuition hikes of ~30% this week is proof of what this man is saying is true. There was an interview by CNN of two students who were protesting the tuition hikes. They were asked what they are going to do and one said that she was going to have to get more loans. She is going to be in more debt with no guarantee she’ll have a job when she gets out. But the UCLA doesn’t care, they know that’s exactly what she’s going to do. It’s simple cause and effect, people need to THINK in long term.
