We need somebody who has the knowledge and guts to speak the truth. Economic war is being waged against the people and we have no defenders in the Senate.
Schiff can play the whole "I was right and Dodd was wrong" card, recent polling shows him as tied with Dodd,and he is wealthy enough to self finance a campaign. Rand Paul has great fundraising potential, but I have yet to see any polls with him and bunning, or him and a democrat.
I can definitely see them both winning, if they do win also it would be a great day for liberty. Also keep an eye on RJ Harris of OK and Adam Kokesh of NM, they’re also great candidates of liberty.

Peter Schiff is a very smart guy. He is a follower of the Austrian School of Economics, who have predicted a lot of economic downturns that happened in the US because of their logical understanding of the fundamentals of economics.
He has predicted a lot of things as far as the economic crisis we are experiencing right now is concerned. He wrote a book back in 2006: Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse where he predicted the mortgage crisis. He was laughed at on TV during 2006, but now that his predictions came true, he gets more air time than those other media cheerleaders do and nobody laughs at him now.

Has he ever said anything substantive about abortion, gun control, gay marriage, Afghanistan, Iraq, immigration or school prayer?
He’s a strict constitutionalists that believe in limited govt in all aspects of our lives.
Abortion – He personally is pro-choice but he believes the federal govt should have no say in the matter, and states should decide if they want to allow the practice or not.
Iraq and Afghan – He says we shouldnt have went to Iraq and he probably would have gone to Afghan but would not have been there long term. He thinks the U.S. is involved in too many foreign countries and have too many troops around the world, on top of all that, we just cant afford it. We have to borrow from China to go to war.
2nd Amendment – He is all for the 2nd amendment and the right for citizens to have guns and protect themselves, not just from criminals but to hold the govt in check.
Gay Marriage – He is for gay marriage, but like abortion he feels its not a federal govt issue. He feels people should be able to marry who they please and there should be no govt involvement, including tax breaks and incentives.
Healthcare – He believes the govt should withdraw from the healthcare market and let the free market fix health car. Govt drives prices up and destroys quality, free markets drive them down and raise quality.
Global Warming – Not sure, but Im sure he figures its all a farce.
Drugs – He thinks the war and drugs is futile and expensive and people should be responsible for what they do to their own bodies. He is for legalized drugs.
